MWorks can interface with National Instruments data acquisition (NI-DAQ) devices via the NI-DAQmx Base driver software. The interface currently supports analog input/output, digital input/output, and digital edge counting. Before using a NI-DAQ device with MWorks, you must install NI-DAQmx Base for Mac. Devices will show up with the RAW label in NI-MAX when the DAQ device is configured to use the DAQmx Base driver on a Windows machine. The DAQmx Base driver is most commonly used to program DAQ devices for a Mac or Linux computer. If you are developing for an application that will be run on a Mac or Linux system, you are set up correctly. NI-DAQmx C Reference Help Edition Date: January 2019 Part Number: 370471AM-01. It integrates with LabVIEW and provides ready-to-use LabVIEW VIs and C function examples similar to those in full-featured NI-DAQmx software.
